For sure, and again, I don't want to take anything away from that. In fact, I too come from a place that suffered mass evictions and forcible transportation, with a bit of famine and a hint of prejudice thrown in as well, all at the prompting of English people. The number going into forced labour was considerably lower than the Irish and we seem to have come out of it with a little less stigma, but again, it's a matter of degree not difference, so I understand the sentiment when it comes from a genuine place. I wish it were genuine more often.
