24 hour time is the easiest way to communicate in the professional world when dealing with things that occur 24/7. I used to ship out on Tankers, and setting watch and operation schedules had to be done on the 24 hour clock. When someone is up at both 6pm and 6am working, saying cargo transfer at 6 could end with a really passed off crew member.I only dislike that the clocks at my work and the systems all use 24 hour time, but we will discuss priority work in 12 hour time. I have to do the mental conversions when we could just say it in 24 hour time. It's an unneeded extra step that causes confusion on some people.
