Happened to me the other day. When I asked a question on a relationship-based sub I deliberately kept it general so as to not insert bias into the question based on my own experience. The question was, in summary, How have you (guys) evolved from your late 20s into your 30s in terms of goals, etc. (relationship-based, not like general maturity or career growth). I phrased it more pointedly at the time. Plus, I wasn't looking for advice I was looking for perspectives and I may or may not apply them to my own life. I didn't think adding a bunch of superfluous details about my relationship status was necessary to generate a discussion
