Its always on purpose, dehumanize the enemy and praise own troops but reality is different, they are all humans with flaws and feelings. But who gonna kill a fellow human without questioning if there wasnt some sense in it, a greater good? And so we all becoming conditioned by politics to hate the right people, to have a justification for a war. Truth is the first victim of the war.
