It makes people scared, it makes people panic and when people panic on this scale we run out of toilet paper and hand sanitizer in the grocery stores, the stock market takes huge hits and that prompts people to panic even more even if they don't have vested interests in it. My feeling is that we should do all we can to protect those who need protecting but not at the expense of immediately tanking our economy not for airlines, wallstreet, etc but for us average people grinding to get by and trying to do better.
