A note on Enterprise: It is fantastic Star Trekkian greatness for seasons 1 and 2 and then when the Xindi overarching plot line comes in, it turns into something rather terrible. It does take several episodes to get to the point of liking Archer/Bakula. He seems like a terrible captain at first, but the character development turns him into someone who does command a lot of respect and I actually think that it adds to the story to see his struggle to do right when its been so implicit for all the captains and commander that came before him in TNG, VOY, DS9.
